FamilyDocs ("we," "us," or "our") operates familydocs.ai and the FamilyDocs application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Account information. When you register, we collect your name and email address.

Documents you upload. Files, photos, and emails you send to FamilyDocs are stored in your account. We process them with AI to extract text, classify content, and detect expiration dates.

Usage data. We collect basic analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve the service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Your documents and data are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256) on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including isolated storage per account.

If you invite family members to your account, they can see documents you've shared with the family. You control which documents are shared and can mark any document as private at any time.
